How we help

Four jobs we take off your plate

Monitor

24/7 eyes on every server, workstation, and connection.

Maintain

Patches, updates, and tune-ups handled in the background.

Resolve

Fast, friendly help desk staffed by people you know.

Plan

A roadmap (vCIO) that aligns IT spend with your goals.

The part you're actually buying

What happens when you call us

1

You call

A person answers — no ticket purgatory, no phone tree.

2

We fix it

Remotely in minutes when we can, on-site when it needs hands.

3

You get a note

Plain English: what happened, and what we changed.

On-site in Northeast Wisconsin — most weeks, in someone's building.
What we commit to

How fast, in writing

Most providers say “we respond quickly”. Here is what that actually means for us, by how badly you're stuck.

P1You're down and nobody can work.

Critical outage — total business stop

First response30 minutes

Resolution goal2 hours

P2Something important is broken or crawling.

High impact — major degradation

First response1 hour

Resolution goal4 hours

P3One person needs something sorted.

Standard — individual request

First response2 hours

Resolution goal8 hours

Targets apply during business hours, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm CT. Initial response is when a human has your ticket and has replied — not an autoresponder. Resolution goal is our target, not a guarantee; complex work sometimes runs longer, and we tell you when it will.

The phone is answered around the clock.

Call at 2am and a person picks up — not voicemail, not an offshore queue. We triage it on the spot.

  • A genuine emergency gets a technician engaged that night. After-hours and emergency rates apply.
  • Anything that can wait goes into the queue for the next business day, and you'll be told which it is.
  • Round-the-clock coverage is available as an add-on for businesses that can't wait until morning — several of our clients run it.
Sound familiar?

Does any of this sound like your IT?

"It's slow again and nobody knows why."

Recurring gremlins eat your team's day and never seem to get fixed at the root.

"We only call IT when something breaks."

Break-fix means you're always reacting — and always surprised by the bill.

"I'm not sure we're actually backed up."

Nobody's tested a restore, and you'd find out the hard way.

"Our 'IT guy' is one person who's hard to reach."

When they're out, you're stuck. There's no team behind them.

It doesn't have to work this way. We take the whole problem off your plate.

Co-managed, specifically

Who does what, exactly

If you already have an IT person, this is the part they'll want to read. We're the bench, not the replacement.

Day-to-day help desk

We’re your whole IT department

We take every call and ticket.

Co-managed

Your person handles what they want to; we take overflow, after-hours gaps, and the days they're out.

Monitoring & patching

We’re your whole IT department

Ours, on our platform, reported to you.

Co-managed

Ours. This is the piece internal teams are usually happiest to hand over — it runs whether anyone is watching or not.

Backup & restore testing

We’re your whole IT department

We run it and we test the restores.

Co-managed

Ours by default, because untested backups are the most common gap we find. Your person keeps visibility.

Security tooling

We’re your whole IT department

We deploy, tune, and watch it.

Co-managed

Ours to run; your person stays in the loop on policy and exceptions.

Projects & installs

We’re your whole IT department

We scope, quote, and deliver.

Co-managed

Either. Your person leads and we supply hands, or we lead and they stay hands-off — decided per project.

Vendor coordination

We’re your whole IT department

We chase your line-of-business vendors so you don't.

Co-managed

Usually ours, on request. It's the job internal IT least wants.

Documentation

We’re your whole IT department

We build and maintain it; you get a copy.

Co-managed

Ours to maintain, and your person keeps full access — so nothing lives only in one head.

Strategy & budget (vCIO)

We’re your whole IT department

We bring the roadmap and the numbers.

Co-managed

Your person owns the direction. We bring options, pricing, and a second opinion.

Co-managed does not mean we replace your IT person. It means they stop being the single point of failure — and stop carrying the 2am pager alone.

Your options

Break-fix, one IT person, a full team, or us

An honest look at the four ways businesses your size handle this — including where the other three genuinely win.

Someone answers when you call

  • Break-fix / hourly: When they're free
  • One in-house IT person: If they're not out
  • Hiring a full IT team: Yes
  • Quantum managed IT: A person, not a phone tree

Published response targets

  • Break-fix / hourly: No
  • One in-house IT person: Rarely formalized
  • Hiring a full IT team: If you write them
  • Quantum managed IT: 30 min on a P1 outage

Problems caught before you notice

  • Break-fix / hourly: You are the alert
  • One in-house IT person: If they have tooling
  • Hiring a full IT team: Yes
  • Quantum managed IT: Monitored around the clock

Cover when your person is out

  • Break-fix / hourly: No
  • One in-house IT person: This is the risk
  • Hiring a full IT team: Yes
  • Quantum managed IT: A team, not one person

Backups actually restore-tested

  • Break-fix / hourly: No
  • One in-house IT person: Often untested
  • Hiring a full IT team: Yes
  • Quantum managed IT: Tested, not assumed

Predictable monthly cost

  • Break-fix / hourly: Worst when it's worst
  • One in-house IT person: Plus benefits
  • Hiring a full IT team: Several salaries
  • Quantum managed IT: Flat and predictable

Documentation you keep

  • Break-fix / hourly: No
  • One in-house IT person: Often in one head
  • Hiring a full IT team: Yes
  • Quantum managed IT: Yours, maintained

Strategy and budget guidance

  • Break-fix / hourly: No
  • One in-house IT person: Sometimes
  • Hiring a full IT team: Yes
  • Quantum managed IT: vCIO roadmap

Scales without a hiring cycle

  • Break-fix / hourly: Sometimes
  • One in-house IT person: No
  • Hiring a full IT team: Months to hire
  • Quantum managed IT: Yes

An honest read: one good in-house IT person is genuinely the right answer for some businesses — and if that's you, we'll co-manage alongside them rather than replace them.

How it works

What the first few weeks look like

Four steps, and the thing you walk away with at each one — including the written plan and budget, whether or not you hire us.

  1. 01

    Assessment

A no-pressure review of what you're running now — hardware, software, backups, security, and the things that keep breaking.

You keep: A written findings summary, in plain English, with risks ranked.

  2. 02

    Plan & budget

We turn the findings into a prioritized plan: what to fix now, what can wait, and what it costs.

You keep: A written plan and budget — yours to keep, whether or not you hire us.

  3. 03

    Document & stabilize

We document your whole environment, fix the urgent gaps, and get monitoring and backup in place.

You keep: Full environment documentation, and monitoring live before you ever call us with a problem.

  4. 04

    Ongoing support

Proactive care, a team that answers, and a quarterly look at what's next.

You keep: Published response targets, and a quarterly review of spend and risk.

Why work with us

A partner that acts like an owner

On-site when it matters

We show up in person — not just remote tickets and phone trees.

Security-first

Every plan is built on our cybersecurity foundation.

Partner, not vendor

We win when your technology helps you grow.

Before you call

Whether we're right for you

We'd rather sort this out now than three months in.

We’re a good fit if…

You want someone who shows up

You're in Door County or Northeast Wisconsin and you want a technician who can be standing in your building, not just on a ticket.

You'd rather prevent than react

You're tired of paying for emergencies and want the boring version: patched, monitored, backed up, quiet.

You want one predictable bill

A flat monthly plan you can budget, instead of a surprise invoice after every fire.

We’re the wrong call if…

  • You want the cheapest possible hourly break-fix. We're not it — proactive care costs more up front and less over a year, and if that trade isn't one you want, we'll say so early.
  • You want to keep calling only when something breaks. That model is exactly what we're built to replace, and we're a poor fit for anyone who wants to keep it.
  • You need hands-on support well outside Northeast Wisconsin. We can support you remotely, but if on-site matters to you, a provider closer to you will serve you better.

If any of the second list sounds like you, tell us on the call — we'd rather point you somewhere better than sell you something that won't fit.

Questions, answered

What owners ask us first

Most of our managed IT clients are on a three-year agreement — it's how we hold the rate flat. We'll talk through the term before you sign anything.

Yes. We start by assessing what you have, stabilize it, and only recommend changes that make sense for your budget and goals.

We publish it rather than leave it vague: 30 minutes to first response on a total outage, 1 hour on major degradation, 2 hours on an individual request — during business hours. Outside them, the phone is still answered by a person, a genuine emergency gets a technician engaged that night at after-hours rates, and anything that can wait goes to the top of the next business day's queue. Round-the-clock coverage is available as an add-on.

Absolutely — or we can co-manage alongside an internal person. Both are common for the businesses we serve.

We start with a thorough assessment, document your full environment, stabilize the basics, and have monitoring in place before you ever call us with a problem.

Every managed plan is built on our security foundation — endpoint protection, patching, backups, and MFA are standard. Deeper needs like compliance programs, awareness training, and insurance-questionnaire help come from our dedicated cybersecurity practice, which works standalone or layered on top of any plan.

See where your IT really stands.

A free assessment: a no-pressure review of your current setup, the risks and gaps we find in plain English, and a prioritized plan that fits your budget.
