What retail IT covers
The specifics, line by line, so you can hold us to them. Cabling, camera and Wi-Fi projects are quoted on their own, and compliance programs work standalone or on top of a managed IT plan.
Registers and the network
- Every server, workstation, and network device monitored continuously on Kaseya 365
- Operating-system and third-party patching on a managed schedule, done outside working hours
- Wi-Fi surveyed and placed to cover the floor, the back room and the office, with registers and card terminals kept apart from guest Wi-Fi
Cameras and doors
- AI cameras you search by person, vehicle, colour or plain English
- Doors locked from your phone, with the video of who came in
- A temporary code for a vendor or cleaner that expires on its own
- Our own techs run the cable and mount everything, no subcontractors
Security
- Managed endpoint detection and response on every workstation and server
- Multi-factor authentication enforced across Microsoft 365, VPN and remote access
- Same-day offboarding when seasonal staff leave
- Backups with documented, tested restores and an offline copy
Phones
- Quantum Voice at $19.99 per phone, per month, with local support
- Your business number on any phone, laptop or Microsoft Teams
- Number porting handled as part of setup, so you stay reachable the whole time
- An AI receptionist that answers, routes calls, takes messages and books appointments at any hour
Support and planning
- A person answers the phone around the clock
- A first response within 30 minutes when nobody can work, during business hours
- On-site visits included, not billed as extras
- Your line-of-business vendors chased for you, so you don't have to
- A vCIO roadmap and a quarterly review of spend, risks, and what's coming
Retail IT across Northeast Wisconsin
On-site help is part of the standard plan in each of these places, from our Sturgeon Bay headquarters and Algoma office.
How it works
What the first few weeks look like
Four steps, and the thing you walk away with at each one, including the written plan and budget, whether or not you hire us.
- 01
Assessment
A no-pressure review of what you're running now — hardware, software, backups, security, and the things that keep breaking.
You keep: A written findings summary, in plain English, with risks ranked.
- 02
Plan & budget
We turn the findings into a prioritized plan: what to fix now, what can wait, and what it costs.
You keep: A written plan and budget — yours to keep, whether or not you hire us.
- 03
Document & stabilize
We document your whole environment, fix the urgent gaps, and get monitoring and backup in place.
You keep: Full environment documentation, and monitoring live before you ever call us with a problem.
- 04
Ongoing support
Proactive care, a team that answers, and a quarterly look at what's next.
You keep: Published response targets, and a quarterly review of spend and risk.
- Footage by person, vehicle or plain English
- Search

Does running a retail & local shops business sound like this?
A down register is a line out the door.
On a July Saturday, ten minutes without card payments is the day's margin.
It's your word against theirs.
A slip-and-fall claim or a missing item, and footage too grainy to prove anything.
Seasonal staff come and go.
Shared logins handed to every summer hire and never turned off.
Inventory and sales live apart.
You find out what sold out, or what didn't move, after the season ends.
There's a better way, and it's already working for businesses like yours.
How Quantum Command helps
The season's numbers while it's still on
We connect your point of sale and accounting so sales, inventory and labor are in one view every morning.
- Sales by day, department and store, against last year
- Best sellers and slow movers before you reorder
- Labor cost as a percent of sales
- Multiple stores compared side by side

Questions, answered
Retail & Local Shops, specifically
The help desk, with a person answering the phone around the clock; monitoring and patching of every computer, register and network device; Wi-Fi with registers kept apart from guest Wi-Fi; security on every account; tested backups; on-site visits; and a vCIO roadmap, for a flat monthly fee. Cameras, door access and phones can sit on the same plan.
Yes. We support the network, computers and terminals your POS runs on and work with the POS vendor when something breaks, so you are not caught in the middle. For Quantum Command, Square, Shopify, Clover and Lightspeed connect to your accounting.
Yes. On-site visits are included in managed IT, not billed as extras, and on-site help is part of the standard plan from Door County through Green Bay, the Fox Valley and the lakeshore.
We publish it: 30 minutes to first response on a total outage, 1 hour on major degradation and 2 hours on an individual request, during business hours. Outside them a person still answers the phone, and a genuine emergency gets a technician engaged that night at after-hours rates.
As a flat monthly fee you can budget, instead of a surprise invoice after every fire. Most of our managed IT clients are on a three-year agreement, which is how we hold the rate flat, and a free assessment shows where you stand before you sign anything.
